Breakfast for Dinner

There is something ever so exquisite about executing activities that are meant for a specific occasion, at random hours of the day and unthought of seasons within a year:
Like singing Christmas carols in mid-May;
Like craving for birthday cake everyday of the year except for on your birthday;
Like going to the movie theater at 11a.m.;
Like eating icecream for breakfast, and breakfast for dinner;
Like listening to iHeartRadio's "Before Breakfast" podcast way past bedtime...

Traditionalists are surely to frown-upon such disorderly behaviour, but we thirty-something-year-olds are too headstrong to care.

While I was visiting the highlands, I frequented a cafe called "CafĂ© Austria".
I was initially drawn into their place because of their hash browns, but what made me snuggle my bum into their breakfast nook and feel like home was the simple text written on the top of their menu:

"Breakfast is serve all day with real butter and homemade marmalade.

Imagine if I'd have lived in this cafe as a six-year old... I would most likely have been a very cheerful and chubby kid from eating breakfast food all day everyday.

Lesson of the day: When I grow up and have a kid of my own, I shall encourage him/her to:
Challenge and question absurd grown-up standards;
Pop-free from societal bubbles; and,
Embrace their individuality.

Have a good one, y' good ol' breakfast lovers!
